Kostinsky said that the construction period of the tower was two months. The rest of the time, about 9 months, work continued on the calculation and international coordination of radio frequencies, allotment of land, the competition for radio frequencies.

In response, Russia annexed the Crimea said that the broadcasting of Ukrainian media on the territory of the Peninsula will be stopped as inconsistent with Russian law.
