Çavuşoğlu and Poroshenko discussed the establishment of FTA between Ukraine and Turkey

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu have agreed to fasten process of signing of the agreement on free trade zone between the two countries. About it reports a press-service of the head of state.

«The parties noted the high dynamics of bilateral cooperation in the context of the implementation of the agreements and stated that this constitutes a solid base for further development of strategic partnership. The meeting was also separately noted the importance of the early completion of the negotiation process on concluding agreement on free trade zone between Ukraine and Turkey», — stated in the message.

During the meeting, Cavusoglu said that Turkey will continue to remain steadfast in supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine, including the non-recognition of the illegal occupation of Crimea.

In addition, the sides discussed the agenda of the next meeting of the Strategic Council of high level between Ukraine and Turkey to be held under the co-chairmanship of the two heads of state this spring.

Earlier, Mevlut Cavusoglu said that cooperation with Russia is important for Turkey, but it does not envisage revision of Ankara’s position in relation to the conflicts in Ukraine and Georgia.

«We support the territorial integrity of Ukraine and Georgia. We do not recognize the annexation of the lands of Ukraine,» — said Cavusoglu.

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine is negotiating with Turkey about the possibility of crossing the border, Ukrainian interior cards-passports. About this on air of the talk show «Right to Vlad,» on the channel «1+1» said the foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.

«We started a serious conversation about this with our Turkish friends. Maybe it will work in the near future. I think that we will reach a result very quickly, but can’t say with accuracy up to one week», — said the Minister.

Also, according to klimkina, similar negotiations are underway with Belarus.

From November 2016, the Ukrainians only issue a new ID card. However, not all in a row: only desire for obtaining a passport is not enough.

Now these plastic cards are issued only to minors 16 years and adults in the event of theft or loss of the passport, if it is confirmed by a special document. In addition, the ID passport you can get if you time to paste the picture in 25 or 45 years, and in the case of a name change.

In the database enter the data on the person including an identification code, which will now be printed just on the passport. Also plotted graphically surname, name, patronymic, date of birth, place of birth, date of issue, are present the digital signature and photography.

In database make information about marriage, children and place of registration, but no stamp in the passport you will find. The data is encrypted on a special chip.

After placing the card will be given 20 working days.

To travel abroad at the ID card still does not work. And although Ukraine has an agreement with Russia and Belarus on crossing the border on internal passports, and their guards have our new passports for the document is not considered.
