Canadian philanthropists will give Ukraine 16 mobile hospitals

Canadian philanthropists are planning this year to send to Ukraine of 16 ambulances, converted into mobile hospitals, six of them will arrive until June. On this day, February 29, at a briefing on Monday said the President of the Canadian-Ukrainian Foundation Victor Hetmanczuk, UKRINFORM reported.

«We intend this year to send to Ukraine 16 mobile hospitals. Six are already ready, they doosnastit medical equipment, and I hope they will arrive before June,» said Getmanchuk.

He said that the first six mobile hospitals canadian donors plan to send to Kharkiv and Kharkiv region. Hospitals on wheels will provide medical assistance to villagers and should be an alternative to inpatient hospitals.

The following four mobile hospitals from Canada planned to send to Luhansk region, reported Getmanchuk.

«We will try to give more to the East, where medical infrastructure is more than just destroyed,» he said.

Recall that in 2015 canadian community and professional paramedics from the provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta (Canada) gave the Ministry of defense of Ukraine four ambulances with the appropriate equipment and drugs.
