Lukashenko demands to initiate a criminal case against the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor

«The dispute was solely on gas. They started in violation of all agreements to cut oil. We appealed, of course, to the court. The trial will be,» — said Lukashenko.

He stressed that Belarus and Russia — two of the most close countries, and such conflicts should not take place.

Lukashenko also said that Belarus can do without Russian oil, although this will be difficult.

«Without Russian oil we can do,» said the head of state.

The President of Belarus noted the lack of progress in negotiations with Russia on supplies of oil and gas.

«The agreement have not yet been able,» said the head of state.

Belarus from February 1 to raise tariffs for the transit of Russian oil in response to the unwillingness of Russia to reduce the gas price.

The gas dispute began in 2016, when Belarus unilaterally decided that the price of 132 dollars per 1 thousand cubic metres was unfair and paid Russian fuel based 73 dollars for 1 thousand cubic meters. Actually, that is when Russia started to limit the volume of oil deliveries.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said that the debt of the Belarusian side is estimated at $ 550 million, but progress in the negotiations about the gas payment at the original formula is missing. The Belarusian political scientist Alexander Klaskouski believes that Belarus is preparing for a long standoff, so as to Minsk, the issue of gas prices is fundamental. But the Russian-Belarusian relations, according to klaskovsky, is not transparent, and therefore difficult to predict their development.

As became known on February 1, Russia has decided to establish a border zone on the borders of Smolensk, Pskov and Bryansk oblasts to Belarus. The representative of the foreign Ministry of Belarus Maria Vanshina said that Russia did not warn the Republic of its decision to do so.

Lukashenko demands to initiate a criminal case against the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko demands from the investigative bodies of the Republic to initiate a criminal case against the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert , by analogy with the case against the former head of Uralkali Vladislav Baumgertner, Interfax reports.

«We need to examine the issue, Igor (Minister of internal Affairs of Belarus Igor Shunevich — ed) and to initiate a criminal case according to Dankvert, once upon Kerimov and Baumgertner was for damage to the state,» Lukashenka said.

According to him, «all these Dankvert — people interested, each with huge estates, they themselves are the manufacturers of a product». «Or the roof» — he said.

In the President’s opinion, Russian producers cannot compete with Belarusian ones. «Now you understand why installed these barriers», — said Lukashenko.

The President has noticed that Russia buys abroad about 7 million tons of dairy products, while Belarus is supplying slightly more than 4 million tons. «Why are you blocking Belarusian goods? We also need to sell to pay for oil and gas,» he said.

Touching upon the problem of food supply in Russia from the countries of the West, Lukashenko said that the introduction of the embargo Russia not consulted with the Belarusians. At the same time, Minsk performs its functions at the external border to prevent illegal exports, he said.

The President noted that Belarus has the right to supply such products after processing. «In transit we do not send», — said the head of state.

However, as Lukashenka stated, there are grey supply chain «unscrupulous businessmen» who «never tracked». «It’s not even half a percent, is minuscule. It was and is always, we’re working on it», — he stressed.

Lukashenko believes that the gray schemes of deliveries of the sanctions in Russia, involved a Russian customs. «We have such facts enough,» he said.

«Agree with our take for next to nothing commodity driven, we divide, the network put», — he added.

«There’s a free market, there is no one in control, for the money there everything is possible», — said the President.

According to him, he gave information about such schemes to the leadership of Russia, but reactions has not followed.
