The Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov claims that the investigation into the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet is intense, but refuses to divulge any related information, referring to secrecy of the investigation.

He said this answering questions of journalists in Slavyansk, Donetsk region on Thursday, September 22, reports «Interfax-Ukraine».

«All that appeared in the press in the first days of the investigation, has seriously impeded the investigation, so we covered information. The investigation, the investigation is intensive, but no information yet we will not give,» — said Avakov.
