Anton Gerashchenko: in the second half of 2018 in the draft budget provides for raising the minimum wage to RS 4100

In the draft budget for the year 2018 provides for the increase from the second half of the minimum wage to RS 4100. The journalists in the Parliament said the MP from the «popular front» Anton Gerashchenko, the correspondent of the edition «GORDON».

«I will vote in favour. The budget of 2018 will be better than the budget in 2017. This is clear – it is more by 20%. From the second half of 2018 envisages raising the minimum wage to RS 4100. This is a consistent issue. Also allocated money to Ukraine was a normal road. An unprecedented amount – more than 40 billion UAH», – said Gerashchenko.

6 December 2016 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the decision to increase the minimum wage from 1 January 2017 up to 3200 UAH.

Finance Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr danylyuk, said on 11 September that the minimum wage in Ukraine from 1 January 2018 plan to increase to UAH 3723.

14 June at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said that allows the average salary to 10 thousand UAH in the medium term.

On 4 December the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has called for raising the minimum wage in Ukraine to 4100 UAH.

On 14 November the Parliament adopted the draft state budget for 2018 in the first reading.

On 1 December the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the draft state budget.

The speaker of Parliament Andriy paruby hopes that the budget will be adopted in the second reading December 7, «not four or five in the morning, and at least two or three nights.»

The head of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Arthur Gerasimov today said that the budget bills the Verkhovna Rada may take 7 Dec «maybe not to 18.00, but it will not be overnight.»
