Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Numan Kurtulus assured, Ankara continued to oppose the annexation of Crimea, despite the normalization of relations with Russia. He said this to journalists in London, according to the Anadolu news Agency.

«No matter how normalized relations with Russia, Ankara continues to oppose the annexation of the Peninsula, and so States in all international platforms,» said Kurtulus.

According to him, the issue of Crimea is also important for Ankara, as the situation in Iraq’s Kirkuk.

«At all levels, we declare that from the beginning condemned Russia’s position on the issue of the annexation of the Crimea», — said Turkish Deputy Prime Minister.

Russian media this week reported that temporarily occupied the Crimea was visited by the Turkish delegation, which included politicians, businessmen and deputies. Today, 26 November, the press Secretary of the foreign Ministry of Turkey Husein Muftuoglu said that the Turkish informal delegation visited the temporarily occupied Crimea on their own initiative.
