An unknown person threw a firecracker in the Consulate General of Poland in Lutsk – media

This morning at the fence of the Consulate General of Poland in Lutsk, an unknown person threw a firecracker. It is reported by the Polish edition Onet.pl citing a source in the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Poland.

«This, apparently, was a firecracker that didn’t even reach to the Consulate and only ruined the fence. She made more noise than damage», – said the source.

According to the newspaper, the Ukrainian police are investigating the incident.

In the night of March 29 in Lutsk, the building of the Consulate General of Poland fired, probably from a grenade launcher. As a result, in the roof a hole, a window was smashed. There were no injuries.

Polish Consul Krzysztof Sawicki called the incident a terrorist attack, noting that the shot into the living room. In connection with the incident in Lutsk, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Poland summoned the Ambassador of Ukraine Andriy Deshchitsa.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, discussed the incident with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda, has offered to involve the investigation of Polish specialists.
