Amnesty International report: progress in the investigation of the shootings on the Maidan not

International human rights organization Amnesty International stated that the investigation of crimes committed during the revolution of dignity in 2013-2014 in Kyiv, almost no progress, and dealing with bringing the perpetrators to justice.

This is stated in the annual report, released today by the Executive Director of Amnesty International in Ukraine Tatyana Mazur.

«For two years after the Euromaidan, little is actually done to prosecute law enforcement officers responsible for excessive, unnecessary and unlawful use of force,» said Mazur.

The report recalled that in November the Prosecutor General’s office reported that the investigation into the more than 2 thousand incidents of Euromaidan, and against 270 persons instituted criminal proceedings.
