Almost 74% of Ukrainians believe that events in the country develop properly – a poll

The majority of citizens of Ukraine believes that the events in Ukraine are developing properly. This is evidenced by the results of a public opinion poll conducted in December 2017 the Fund «Democratic initiatives» name Ilka Kucheriv jointly with the sociological service of the Razumkov Center.

This answer chosen 73,7% of the respondents.

With the option «in the right direction,» agreed to 14.4%. Other respondents found it difficult to answer.

On the question of what would become the motion signal «in the right direction», with a score of 74.6% (respondents could choose several options) is leading the response «End of hostilities, establishing peace in the Donbas.»

In second place with 45.6 per cent «the criminal prosecution of corrupt officials».

The study was conducted from 15 to 19 December, the Ukrainian government-controlled territory. Interviewed 2004 respondents over the age of 18 years. Theoretical sampling error does not exceed 2.3%.

The armed conflict in Eastern Ukraine began in April 2014. Fighting underway between the Armed forces of Ukraine and Pro-Russian rebels who control part of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The parties have repeatedly declared a truce, but never managed to achieve full compliance.
