All performances Yanukovych joined to the criminal proceedings — Gorbatyuk

All the speeches of former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych during the Maidan and after joining the criminal proceedings against him, to be analyzed by prosecutors.

This broadcast «112 Ukraine» said the head of the Department of special investigations of the Prosecutor General Sergei Gorbatyuk.

«All performances and during events on the Maidan, and attached to the materials produced and analyzed against the suspect,» he said.

While Gorbatyuk noted that videotapes Yanukovych, which is scheduled for November 28, will be interesting to Prosecutor’s office if it will be complete.

«If it takes place (interrogation — ed.) and will be full, and will have the opportunity to ask questions to prosecutors, he (Yanukovych — ed.) is, of course, any replies will be helpful, in order to test them in the course of the investigation,» he said.

Also Gorbatyuk noted that for questioning Yanukovych can establish a video call with the suspects in the shooting of Maidan ex-Berkut officers in Lukyanovka jail.

«For interrogation, as far as we know, organized ability to video conference from jail. If (ex-Berkut officers. — ed.) will not be able to travel, it is possible that a video conference will take place questioning,» he said.

According to the Gorbatyuk, such measures are an initiative of the Svyatoshinsky regional court of the capital, to prevent possible re-adjournment of the meeting.

As reported, on Friday, November 25, Svyatoshinsky regional court of Kiev was planning to depose Yanukovych in a videoconference as a witness in the case of executions during Euromaidan. However, the meeting was moved to November 28 because of the impossibility to deliver to the court the defendants ex-Berkut officers.

Activists blocked their exit from the Lukyanovka jail. According to the protesters, Yanukovych has to be in court as a defendant, not as a witness.
