Against Russian opposition Maltsev opened a criminal case for «incitement to extremism»

Russia’s investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Russian opposition leader Vyacheslav Maltsev. About this channel «Rain» reported the press Secretary of the movement «Russian March» Denis Romanov.

A criminal case was opened under article 280.1 of the Russian Criminal code (public calls for extremist activities).

According to Romanov, the case opened in connection with the establishment of Maltsev «extremist», at the conclusion of the investigation, community’s «Artillery». He also said that during a search in the «people’s house» Maltsev in the suburban village Lohino seized equipment and paraphernalia.

Blogger and politician Maltsev was second in the list of the party PARNAS (Party of people’s freedom) in the Duma elections of 2016, according to voting results, he failed in the lower house of the Russian Parliament.

April 14 Tverskoy district court of Moscow arrested Maltsev for 15 days for disobeying the police.
