«A lot of money for the nomination». Navalny told about the conversation with Sobchak before the election

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny said on air of the «Bulk LIVE» that the journalist Ksenia Sobchak allegedly told him about the huge money that she was offered for nomination as a presidential candidate.

The politician said that it showed itself in these elections, «the champion of hypocrisy».

«You came to my house at two in the morning. It was our last conversation with you before the meeting, a few months before you announced (on the nomination of a presidential candidate. – «GORDON»). And literally told me and she (his wife Yulia, Navalny. – «GORDON«), sitting in my kitchen and drinking tea: «I’ve been offered a lot of money for the nomination and I don’t know what to do,» – said Navalny.

Sobchak said that’s not true.

«You’re lying. I said absolutely not. And you know that’s not true,» she said.

Navalny said in response that it is «the truth» and accused Sobchak in a lie.

Presidential elections in Russia held today, 18 March – the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea.
