A large-scale accident in Poland: from-for a strong fog has faced more than 70 cars, a lot of victims

In the centre of Poland near the city of piotrków Trybunalski Lodz Voivodeship in the same place on both sides of the A1 motorway due to heavy fog have been two large-scale accident.

An accident generally got 76 cars, dozens of people were injured, reports «UKRINFORM» on Thursday, January 26.

The first accident occurred at 09:45 (Kyiv time), when in conditions of very low visibility one truck ran into another, and then they began to run down other cars. In General in the interval of approximately 500 metres has faced more than 40 cars. The second accident happened almost in the same place in a few minutes. The second autoincident got about 20 cars.

According to the interior Ministry of Poland, the scene has about 100 police and more than 70 rescuers.

According to preliminary information, in both accidents no one was killed. However there are many victims, including 32 people taken to hospital, one in serious condition. In the accident one car was completely burnt.

The police was expelled from the movement section of the highway where the accident occurred, and appealed to drivers with an appeal to go around this piece.

It is expected that traffic on the A1 motorway near Piotrkow City would not be restored until the evening.

The interior Minister of Poland Mariusz Blashak took the situation with road accident under personal control.
