A court in Kyiv has postponed the meeting in case of treason Yanukovych from-for absences of lawyers

Obolonskiy district court of Kiev December 20, postponed the hearing in the case of treason, ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych due to the absence of his lawyers. It is reported by the correspondent of the edition «GORDON».

At the meeting the presiding judge Vladislav Devyatko read out is transferred to the protection of the former head of state of the document, which States that lawyers are in business trip outside Ukraine, particularly in Russia.

The next meeting was scheduled for December 27.

Yanukovych was President of Ukraine from 2010 to 2014, after fleeing the country live in Russia.

In the Obolon court of Kyiv is considering the case against Yanukovych of treason, of complicity in the conduct of the war and the encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine that resulted in the death of people.

On 7 December, the prosecution requested the court to summon for questioning on charges of treason Yanukovych, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Secretary of national security and defense Alexander Turchinov, Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andrei Parubiy, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Andrei Deshchitsa, the former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

11 Dec Obolonskiy court was questioning Avakov and Yatsenyuk as witnesses in case of treason.
